Cancellation Policy and Fees

Your therapy times are reserved exclusively for you. We value your business and ask that you respect the omce scheduling policies. Should you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Any cancellations with less than 24 hours of notice are subject to a cancellation fee of €50.00. Clients who miss their appointments without giving any prior notification will be charged in full for the scheduled service. We recognize the time of our clients and staff is valuable and have implemented this policy for this reason. When you miss an appointment with us, our therapists not only lose your business, but also the potential business of other clients who could have scheduled an appointment for the same time. Additionally, many times our staff will be functioning in an “on call” status and may have traveled to the omce specifically for your service. For these reasons, we are obligated to compensate our staff for their time.

Late Arrival Policy

All treatment sessions have a specific time schedule therefore we regret that late arrivals may not receive extension of scheduled appointments. In special cases, and when our schedule will allow, we may be able to accommodate a partial or full appointment. This will be at our discretion and only with proper, advanced notification of your late arrival. The original reservation fee will be charged.

No Show Policy

At Bodhi, we understand that unanticipated events occur in everyone’s life. Unforeseen events such as car problems, business meetings and children’s illnesses, are just a few reasons why one might consider canceling a massage appointment. However, we ask that you call if you cannot keep your appointment. Clients who miss their appointments without giving any prior notification will be charged in full for the scheduled service.

Informed Consent

Prior to each massage session, the treatment plan will be discussed with you. At your first visit with us you will be asked to sign the treatment consent form stating that you have read the information, understand it, and agree to comply with the professional massage therapy policies and procedures. Clients who we have not seen for at least a year may also be asked to fill out this form.

Respect for Client Needs and Boundaries

Our Massage Therapists are happy to adjust pressure, temperature, musical volume, work longer on an area or move on if you request it. The client will always be modestly draped. Only the area being massaged will be undraped. Sexual interaction or discussion of any kind between the client and the massage therapist is NEVER appropriate.

Confidentiality and Conversation

We treat all client visits and conditions as confidential. As such, we will not discuss your visit with anybody outside of our staff without your express permission. You may choose to talk not talk during the massage. Conversation will be guided by the client’s direction.

Existing and New Medical Conditions

It is the responsibility of the client to keep the massage therapist informed of any medical treatment currently being taken, and to provide written permission from the physician, chiropractor, physical therapist, etc., that the massage may be continued. The client must also keep the massage therapist informed of any changes in health conditions.

Policies and Procedures: Mobile Massages

BEFORE TREATMENT

All services are prepaid for at booking. No service is secured until full payment is received. Without payment the client understands the chosen appointment time can be used by another client. Client agrees to pay parking fees for locations requiring it i.e., hotels, resorts, etc. Any location change must be pre-approved at least 24 hours in advance of the appointment day. Client agrees to pay for valet service if no parking within one block’s distance of the hotel is available for hotel-located appointments. Must request any complimentary services i.e., aromatherapy, hot packs, hot towels, massage gun, hot stones on back, etc., at least 24 hours prior to the appointment date.

DURING TREATMENT

Must be the only person in the room with the Therapist. Unless medically necessary, for the safety and comfort of our therapists, no other persons will occupy the same space in the treatment area other than the person being treated. The environment must be free from distractions, or the client agrees that it is included in their service time. No additional time will be given as a result of interruptions. If at any time the Therapist feels uncomfortable due to inappropriate behavior, they reserve the right to leave the premises immediately.

HEALTH CONDITION POLICIES

It is the responsibility of the client to keep the Therapist informed of any medical treatment currently being taken, and to provide written permission from the physician, chiropractor, physical therapist, etc., that the massage may be started or continued if under the care of a healthcare professional. The client agrees to keep the Massage Therapist informed of any changes in their health conditions. For clients undergoing chemo and radiation therapies: Please note that we require a doctor’s note that states the doctor is aware of and agrees to the desired treatment. If the Therapist is made aware of an illness or anything deemed medically unlawful to perform massage upon the therapist’s arrival, the client forfeits their treatment session.

Cancellation Policy

NO REFUNDS will be provided for any service. Any appointments cancelled at least 48 hours prior to the service being performed will be honored on the client’s account as a service credit that may be used no later than 30 days from the original appointment date. There will be no refunds or credits for appointments that are cancelled less than 48 hours from the scheduled appointment time. All clients will have a 15-minute grace period from start of appointment time if late or not home before incurring a €50 cancellation fee. The client agrees that all appointment times are set and under no circumstances will be altered due to the cancellation of another appointment time. Ex: If there is a purchased couple’s massage where 1 of the massages is forfeited for any reason, that forfeited time will not be used by the other member of the package.
